Often practise/experiment on themselves/each other, which tbf is far more ethical than on a paying client. Like any trade, you're only as good as your worst job.

I know what it's like to be ostracised because I voted for Brexit.

Infidel 1:10 - You should know what it's like to be ostracised as by definition you're a hooligan as you support West Ham.

There was an excellent project set up by a British photographer in which he photographed LA gang members and then airbrushed all the tattoos off.
The reaction of the gangsters on seeing how they would look without their tats was genuinely moving. Without the tats they look like normal, decent citizens - the sort that have jobs and families.
One or two actually cry on seeing the images.
Worth Googling. He is called Steven Burton.
But it raises the question why anyone would want to plunge themselves by association into that world by sporting exactly the same revolting, aggressive, menacing body art they do when even the gangsters themselves wish they hadn't done it.

Talk about twist what I said! You're not a journo are you?! I was simply saying that I put a lot of thought into it. This tattoo has actually been around 10 years in the making but I appreciate that not everyone waits that long and that is a bit extreme! At the beginning I wasn't sure what sleeve I wanted and always wondered how people come up with these amazing ideas. I'm pleased with what I have decided now and my tattooist and am confident with what he will do. His name is Karl Stevens

Tattoos only need to be good when it's a 40th birthday?
So the rest of the time it's perfectly fine to get a botch job inked permanently into one's skin....
Curiouser and curiouser....

Dont rush into it mate. Do some research first and find a tattooist that is good at what you want and see their portfolio of work. I am getting a sleeve done in Bournemouth and it had taken a long time to find someone who I can trust. I booked him in October for April because that is how long his waiting list is! I have had some proper shite tattoos in the past and this one needs to be good as its a 40th birthday present for me

What about this geezer??

Don't do it mate.
Black looks like shit...
Just my opinion...
Someone should invent ink that can be simply removed...by radiation...harmless painless...just pass it over it...and GONE...
